"A Silent Voice"

Jemma, a 12-year-old girl, finds herself thrown into the frightening world of fostering. The loss of her voice adds to her challenging circumstance and, when she suspects that she is being stalked, Jemma is forced to suffer the horror in silence. Her extraordinary situation allows her new-found psychic abilities to surface, and opens up a whole new world for her.

As an avid reader herself, Candice hopes to encourage children to read more, while teaching a life's lesson in each book. Her first novel, "Mean Mandy", is a great story about morals, and teaches youngsters not to judge a book by its cover. Candice is working on a second novel for teens titled "A Silent Voice", and is hoping to release it soon.

When she isn't writing, Candice enjoys reading, word puzzles, and crafts of all sorts.
